this is so frustrating!!! i cant jump sideways without turning and losing distance, and the dood in the video makes it look so easy lol.

anyone got any tips on doing this?

Keep trying, it'll happen eventually and unexcpectedly. When I made it, I was just giving it a few more tries after failing to dig up more help on the site. It just takes skill and time.

i bet ya ive tried about 150 times at least, ive been trying for the past hour or so, and ive been on once, but fell of when i went to jump up to the next ledge.

I CANT GET HIGH ENUF ANYMORE

i almost make it, then i JUST dont get enough height, and hit the bottom. i can get massive distance tho, i can go from the top of the ship and hit the wall beside the ledge, (the far wall) i just cant get height into this equasion. any suggestions anyone?

make sure you are really at the corner of the ship. try going too far and falling off a few times to give yourself an idea of where the edge really is.

okay, make sure you are holding nothing on the controller. you can screw up the slide up the ledge if you are pressing anything.

Now see if you can figure out that weird freaking ghetto jump to get the plasma beam early ;) I had to watch the videos on the site a few times to understand what exactly it meant.

That particular ghetto jump is probably one of the hardest things in the game to teach. You really have to do it yourself to really understand what's going on, and even with a full video and explination, it takes some experimentation on your part to get it properly. At least, that what I've found.

lately i've been beating it down by using an actual l jump (meaning l at the start, then release almost immediately) directly into the spider block. something similar goes off in my single segment run, although regrettably not on the first try (totally missed the center of the block) :P

i can ghetto jump to get the ice beam, i still havent drained that pool thing lol, i cant figure out where to start the ghetto jumping for the plasma beam. ill just download the videos and watch them till i can do it.

im gunna try a few runs:

yeah good idea.. just the part where u have to get past the spider ball track without the spider ball after flaahgra.. i still cant get past that... any tips? i did it once but that was on my 100% game to try to practice.. and it was really hard... its gonna be a while before i get it
