yep 8-) , jump extending like this, is like pressing a+b at the same time

you have to make sure the 3rd bomb hits, so you might want to hold right a bit :P

and the wall jump is the perfectly timed part Wink

but i still prefer the hbj

i can't see this due to not having a rom, but i've seen what you described before - in a tas. judging from your signature, i'd assume that this is tool-assisted. am i wrong?

i ask because i, ekarderif and a couple others looked into this and deemed it impossible in real-time about a year ago. i suppose it's possible, but so is bob and no one's touching that anytime soon.

yes it's tool-assisted. forgot to mention that. But it's only 50% slowdown i used (and a savestate)

i'm sure it's not impossible real-time, the only hard thing is the wall jump

also bob has 7 frames of error, it's only deemed impossible because of the down-up-right/left thing

I wish there was a key comb thing in vba, like zsnes's

I watched it, and its definitely not possible in real time. I dont think theres much of a use for it anyways.

there's definitely a use for it. it's faster than the hbj, and would theoretically be easier if it were possible.

it's not though. it's a nice tas trick, but no one is going to be able to reproduce that. if you think you can, by all means, go for it.

I tried that trick my gba, but not working.

I think it is sure possible skip acid worm without TAS run. I think only hope skip acid worm without power grip is: If you make horrizontal bomb jump over acid pool. This trick is damn hard i think it is nearly impossible, but ajbolt make this trick his run and he not have powergrip.
