I dont think that anyone should use roms I once downloaded a super metroid rom and I played it for five minutes just to see if I liked it well I did so I bought it off ebay and got rid of the rom. That is the only time you should try roms, to see if you like the game.

I use roms to do that AND get a bunch of Game Genie codes and flick around. Because if it messes up that game. I could always get a new one from the Zip. Roms are good for ripping sprites, but I don't do that. I stink at sprites.
