Several of you were answering some questions I had about this under the Samus' Scan Face thread but thought I should ask here:

Ok -- I scanned Aurora Unit 313 (full body and Head) then paused to look at the Logbook... everything was complete: Creatures, Research, Lore, Objective... as far as I know I did everything (including 100% Item Pickup). I was expecting to see a on-screen message like "100% Scans Complete...". I didn't.

So, the obvious question to ask is what did I miss? Of course there are many scans that do not go into the Logbook, do those count? I got most of them but no way I got every scan in the game.

Thanks.
Thread title:
I like turtles.
You don't get a message like that in Corruption - at least, there wasn't one in the Trilogy edition.  If your logbook says you have 100% of the scans, then you do.  That threw me for a loop at first, too.
Why would Retro deviate from MP and MP2... they kept most other alerts, etc intact? I played this on the "standard" Wii version, not Trilogy. Thanks for the info.
Simple. You no longer receive a direct award for achieving 100 % logbook.
It's kinda weird how they didn't reward 100% scans since Prime 3 scans were the hardest to complete.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
You do get rewarded... just not directly like MP1 -2. IIRC you get tokens for every scan, so to unlock everything you do need 100% scans. But the game can't tell you "You got 100% scans: Gallery unlocked" or some such like the first two games since the way bonuses are handled was completely overhauled. It still would have been nice to get an on-screen confirmation though.
Anywhere, everywhere
Technically, you could miss one creature scan and buy everything because of the glitched bonus red credit.
I'm not aware of a red credit glitch... I never have signed up for those friend credits - I should check into how that works. I would like to unlock some of the other stuff.

The MP3 Logbook is more informative (say 12/12 Bryyo Lore) but I still like the way MP2 is set up the best.
