100% route?

I'm looking for a good 100% route for this game. I found one but it had a few mistakes that I wasn't sure how to fix and keep the same speed, if not a better speed. So if anyone could show me where I can find one, it would be most appreciated.

I know we looked into this back when the game first came out, but I couldn't tell you where that list is at this point. It may even be the route you found already for all I know, but I know we made one. But it does depend on what tricks and breaks you can perform in the end.

Well, I'm not quite sure what sequence breaks I can perform because there aren't many that I have tried. But what I usually do is find the route and then learn the sequence breaks as I go. So what sequence breaks I do and do not know shouldn't be much of an issue.

If you aren't doing any sequence breaks then it's simply a matter of being strategic about which locations on each planet you land on and which ones you take off from when you're doing your item 'clean-up' before Phaaze. I can't recall from memory what those are. :(

I'd like to see a route with sequence breaks, but if I find it is too complicated for me or somthing, I'd switch to somthing with either less sequence breaks or none at all. Basically, I'm just looking for whatever is fastest for 100%.

Obviously the faster strategy would be to use the sequence breaks, so it sounds like you ought to go to the main site and learn them. I prefer to do long-runs (no sequence breaks) on the Prime games, but that's just me.

If fastest time is your main goal then go with sequence breaks.

If you find the SB's to be un-doable then skip them and keep in mind that a long run is really a different kind of run altogether and it's best not to compare the time of a long-run with a SB run since it's apples & oranges imo.

Well the problem with that is that I am terrible at creating speed routes. However, I'm willing to make one. Is there anything I should keep in mind when creating one?

EDIT: Might as well ask this while we're on the topic of 100%. I've been trying for quite a few days to get the Tower Energy Tank early, before spider ball. I just can't get it right. My main problem is that I don't seem to get enough height. When I do get enough height, I either don't morph instantly or I just don't make it into the top tunnel. Any tips would be well appreciated as I am getting pretty frustrated...
