Ok.. Im trying to complete hard with 100% (already completed with 97%, a few log book entries were missing who could be obtained only one time) I'm now at 100% log book and 98% Items with one missile pack missing.

And I cannot find it. :(

I searched all areas again and again (I've already completed 100% on normal). I even looked through various guides to confirm where the last one could be, but I have visited every listed place at least two times now, but no missile there.

Perhaps I would need a graphically or map-based guide... has anyone a link to something like that?  :)

Try GameFAQs. Here's the link to their Prime FAQs. Scroll down a bit and they have a couple of maps, one of which has items on it.

It might be the same one I missed.  In Metroid Quarantine A (I think--it's the one that's dark where you need to grapple to the mushroom by the door using the Glider), go to the end of the area (under the Glider) and turn on the Thermal Visor.  There's a circle of mushrooms on the ground, and underneath is a Missile Tank.  Lay a bomb to claim it.  And look CAREFULLY, because it's easy to miss.

Thanks, found it today.

It was the one  in the ruined gallery, above the half pipe.
