Hi, there are some .ips patches I'm looking for. If anyone has these patches, it would be great if you post them here.

These are the hacks I'm looking for:

*Super Metroid Zebes Returns 2
*Super Metrace
*Metroid Marathon

And these are the ones I'm looking for but not sure if the patch even exists, as some or all may be abandoned projects:

*Super Metroid Phantom
*Super Metroid: Speed Runners Training Course
*Return to SR388
*Metroid Ressurection
*Metroid Eradication
*Super Metroid Alternate Mission

The only one listed that is mentioned in the above links is Super Metroid Phantom, which I fear has been abandoned....

(Edit) I also have a list of all the hacks I already have in my own forum, check my sig for the link to the forum. Some (but not all) of the hacks aren't mentioned in the above links either.... Think

AFAIK none of these exist.
I've heard of about 2-3 of these here, but were never finished.

The guy who made zebes returns. I know there is a final version but I never heard of an number 2. :/

Cool that you guys found info about it. Maybe it was posted on SCU before the guy left. I don't know myself. I started hacking around the time he left. (After) So I don't know much about him beside the hacks.

Also I don't think BG go here much any more. I did send him a PM on youtube hoping he is more active there.
I will post if I get any response.

I'm quite sure BG did not make Marathon.... from what I recall. Meh.. long time ago!

I just got an .rar back from BoostGuardian. (yes I got the e-mail today)
Here is the list of hacks that he found:
Darkness spreads
Darkness spreads 2
Resurrection
Marathon v1.2
Full run

If any one is still intrested in any of them post and I will make IPS patches for them.

Also when i search "Super Metroid Zebes Returns 2" in Google i only get 4 results and 2 of them link to this thread....

I actually emailed the creator of that hack about a Super metroid very easy hack i made because i used his Super easy metroid as the base not to long ago but he said he doesn't hack anymore.

If your interested I can post the ips for the Super metroid very easy hack I made.

The other two. I had to split into two post due to file size in attachments.

The IPS's are big in file size. I think it is because the hacks where first patched to (E) ROMs, as I know BoostGuardian uses that type. The patches I made should work on (J/U) ROMs just fine.

You realise you have most of the european ROM in those patches, what you're pretty much doing is changing the (U) ROM to the (E) ROM and applying BG's patches; why not just make the patches for the european ROM?

I don't have a clean (E) ROM. And BG did send me .smc files and not patches.

If you want better patches do them your self. Rolling Eyes

I'm to lazy to look for a (E) ROM.

Resurrection doesn't seem to work... the landing site is full of junk and doesn't seem to be passable, even after checking it in SMILE. Trying it on a headerless ROM instead actually crashes ZSNES immediately for some reason, so I don't think I used the wrong one.

Hmm. And Resurrection was the one I was going to try. Any of these hacks worth a download?

I have played Darkness Spreads 2, and thought it was a very good halfhack.
