very good, saber. ;) your second try there is dead on ... at least for a german pronunciation.

in english my family tends to say it "john key" or (quicker) "jongkey", so i usually follow suit, though i don't try to correct people who pronounce it with a y sound or entirely like it should be in german, unlike my parents.
