Boards of Canada has never left the pedestal of my favorite music band, and I don't see that happening in the future, either. That album, Geogaddi, is just so immensely deep and carefully crafted.

Agreed. I would recommend their albums Geogaddi and Music Has The Right To Children to anyone who has the slightest interest in electronic music.
Also, here's The Most Unwanted Music, which is what I'm currently listening to. A 22 minute piece precisely designed to appeal to the fewest people possible. It's actually quite hilarious (AT WAL-MART!).

22 minutes of listening, pfft. I'm already used to songs that feel like that, and I do mean a wide variety of songs that I believe sound like crap in my mind.
Eric Clapton- Layla, Don McLean- American Pie, and Death Cab for Cutie- I Will Possess Your Heart
Yeah, I have somewhat weird tastes for a 14 year old (for some reason, I don't like most rap, even if I have to hear it almost every day).
I like the songs I mentioned above (two of them are soft rock, and I can't classify what the third one is), but regarding rap, I somewhat hate it, despite having to hear it almost every single school day.
