okay so this is incredibly neat, and I know it's like a year old, but I hadn't seen it until now so here:
I can't even imagine what that game is like for him, what he's set up in his head. If he's been blind his whole life, he has no idea what games look like, to him he imagines it just like reality, and they aren't weighted down by crappy 3D graphics.

To this day, I fail to see how blind people find it enjoyable to play video games. Sight plays the most important role in video games, and when you take out the visual aspect you hardly have anything left to work with. Sure, blind people can memorize a set of instructions to beat a video game, but they can't go out of their way and mess around for fun.

Nah but seriously, it could just be the fact that they don't know how much fun they "really" are. They don't know what they're missing out on, etc. Or maybe it's just something he decided to do for shits and giggles. It's a huge challenge, sure, but it's not like he's TRYING to get the same type of enjoyment out of it. He's just doing it because it's entertaining.
