Well they did air it live on TV unedited so if the FCC didn't have a problem with it being broadcast to all ages...

As far as I'm aware, all televised wrestling is like this. Most of the serious stuff is probably kept off TV for just that reason.

These shows are perfectly acceptable if tou take them how they're meant. They are meant as a form of entertainment, to bring in the crowds, and make money. They could show more real wrestling, but it would never pull the same crowds, as there wouldn't be any good guy / bad guy stuff going on, nor any of the other drama.
