Oh, now I'm just offended, sir. I spent all that time trolling you just to be tossed aside like an old newspaper when you found a shiny new internet enemy.

Stop treating me like an object! I am a human being!

I do admit IUniverse does make some very good points.  I don't know why everyone in the MPH topic declared it to be fanfiction, while it may as well possibly be true.  I am one of the few people here who likes Hunters like he does.  IUniverse was one of our best members in the MPH area.  I have no idea why he would get banned like that.  I am responding to this topic as a tribute to IUniverse and what he did during his time here at M2K2.

Gee, I wonder why he got banned? Was it because he would never admit he was wrong, or maybe it was because he would hijack threads to talk about how great Hunters was...

Nah, it was probably because he thought he was god and was foretelling dark prophecies about Kenny's life. Yeah, I think that was probably it. Not to mention his total lack of respect for the moderators.

ANY fanfic can be "possibly true" if it doesn't violate canon. ANY. FANFIC. Cannot emphasize that enough. Your argument requires we take every fanfic seriously. No thanks, dude.

Actually I'm not convinced you aren't just trolling with this thread. I find it almost impossible to believe you actually support someone who was so clearly out of touch with reality. Regardless of how much you liked Hunters, there is zero good reason to respect someone who showed so little respect for everyone else. Rolling Eyes

Edit: For anyone late to the party: Some proof that IUniverse had serious issues. Sort of a fun read, in retrospect.

This pretty much sums it up.

That topic deserves a sticky somewhere, it's funny every time. The end is just so mind bogglingly ridiculous. laugh new
We should put Soap's post there in a museum.

We should put all of Soap's posts in a museum.

Has Soap ever done a post that's to be taken seriously? If yes, I'd like to have a link to it.

(yeah, posting number 222!)

De mortuis nil nisi bonum - Say nothing but good of the dead.  IUniverse is gone from M2K2, so there is no reason to further ridicule him.  I will admit he may have been a little weird--or maybe just different--but he had enormous knowledge of Hunters.  And yes, he even made us feel dumb sometimes.  But you have to feel sorry for him, after what he's been through.  While he was here I occasionally supported him because I didn't want everyone blasting his threads.  Everyone on the forum deserves respect, I read the rules.  However, I am neither 100% supporting either side.  I am on his side and yours.  I am neutral.  There's my words of wisdom for today, now that we have all that sorted out, I will apologize for being offensive.  I never meant to troll.  I just wanted to show IUniverse, if he still reads this, that I will not say anything against him.  I will stop responding to this thread unless I deem it necessary.  Which may not be for a while (if ever).

What's he been through? The realm of breaking rules? Thinking of himself as god? Literary inspiration in writing this?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
1. He's not dead, just banned.
2. His antics were very funny and I will continue to make jokes and laugh about it until I get tired of it.
3. Respect is earned, just showing up and posting doesn't mean you deserve respect.
4. I don't have to feel anything towards anyone.
5. He made only himself seem dumb.
6. What exactly has he been through that's so traumatizing? People criticizing his theories that wee full of holes? My heart bleeds.
7.Shut up.

That's so wishy-washy and boring. :(

It's also impossible. Neutral does not mean you support both sides.

Wait, last I saw that post was by some one else. I think my brain exploded.

Presumably, an admin may need to know what the site looks like to normal non-admin members from time to time.

Precisely. Or close enough, at least.
I thought RT-55J was Ark's alternate account.  :-k

Sorry for the trouble before guys.  I just read the topic where IUniverse loses it.  He thinks he's some sort of prophet trying to warn Kenny of a car crash at age 24?  He's lost it.  Then he says his name IUniverse means he is the universe and that he is God.  While I respect his tremendous faith, I think he's overdoing it.  I always thought of him before as some nice kid with good ideas that people hate.  That will not change my mind that he may be partly good after all, but I will stop defending him after seeing what's on his mind.  And Bob, banned is about the same thing as "dead from this forum", just to clear things up.  This stuff gets so random, serious, and funny at the same time, that I think we should create an "Official IUniverse Topic".

Why would you respect someone who's so clearly a nutjob? :|  It doesn't take any strength of character to develop a superiority/god complex. That's someone you should pity, not respect.

Most people on M2K2 rarely mention God.  And IUniverse is slightly more acceptable to us Hunters SB'ers.

For good reason too. It only causes trouble.

A search brings up more than 600 matches for "god" by any user on any forum, and the search is noted to exclude tons of relevant posts (such as Phazar's last post in this thread). The search function sucks hard enough to only give one result from 2008.
