Big bump, but I've got a question. I felt irritated by not having the sound test open, which led me to want all the stages, which led me to want to beat all of the event matches. And right now I am getting royally pwned by Event 50. It's the last one, and I can't freakin' beat it. Any tips?

I voted yes. I haven't done it yet, but I will soon. All I need are the vs match special messages, and the super special trophies. I like HRC on this game though. My total is about 85K.

Personally, I'm partial to Yoshi and his aerial down+A for Event 50. Seriously, that drill kick is insane, plus the fact that you can't get knocked out of your recovery jump helps too.

Seriously, my main character is yoshi. I was using cap. falcon and the up-smash, but the hands always seem to attack in just the right pattern to kill me. Ugh.

Oh yeah. Ganondorf is your man. His Upwards smash is what you need. Take out the right hand quickly, then go for the left.

At least, that was how I beat it.

Thanks a lot Kennyman! I used your tip and beat it finally. Heck, I could have taken on a third hand too. Or, at least like 1/8 of another hand or something. Yeah.

Anyway, 51 beaten as well. (used jigglypuff) Now I'm going to work on the single player trophies (master hand, giga bowser, mew, etc) and the smash coins. I've only done two coins matches before, so it could take a while. :(

By the way, anyone else wish that Diddy Kong was in the game instead of Pichu? It would have been perfect, bouncing oranges instead of sparks, and jet pack instead of quick attack. For thunder, maybe a guitar thing or something.

Diddy, instead of Thunder could have him strike a cord on his Guitar, and lightning strikes. Cart Wheeling instead of Skull bash. Diddy would have been cool.

Hah! Mew and giga bowser both received, and 20 coin matches so far. working at it...

7 trophies left: the two "save from different game" ones, smash coins, master + crazy hand, diskun and sheriff. It is within my grasp...

EDIT: Yeah, you're right. Boy, Crazy hand sure looks tricky to get. And diskun, that could be a nightmare. Oh well.

I haven't even tried for crazy hand or giga bowser yet, I just don't have the patience to practice those things for hours, after about 20 tries I just give up, Prime's SJ first is notorious for making me give up.

Ok, trying adventure on hard got me to pokemon stadium before I died, but I was using yoshi, not the best melee character. I did well on just about everything except mario and peach and giant DK. Any tips?

And jeez Diskun is going to kill me. How did you all get "hammer throw?" My guide says go to brinstar, get tossed by the acid and throw it, but that's just not working for me.

Hit Z at the peak of your launch. Just try hitting it multiple times. You'll get it eventually.

You don't really throw the hammer either. You just drop it.

Pokemon Stadium is probably the hardest spot in the entire adventure mode on hard. Use a character with an "insta-team-kill" move, like DK's Down+B, or Roy and Marth's Up+B. Roy also has an advantage in that computers don't realize that a charge type move like his obscenely long B move is being charged until you actually let go of the button, so they'll walk right into it. It's pathetic.

Oh, and waste time before finishing Mushroom Kingdom and the Underground Maze. You do NOT want to have to fight Giga Bowser if you somehow manage to make it.

I HAVE IT ALL.

Every bonus (No Damage Clear, Lethal Weapon Flying Meteor survivor and other insane ones, Every trophy (diskun was kinda disappointing :P)!!! My friends hate me :P

I beat event 50 with ganoondorf and event 51 with... Jigglypuff ;)

I wish I can get those other ones too :(
