Hmm, interseting. How was it drawn? Was it realistic, cartoony, or somewhere in between?

And would this Oh Canada show have been on Cartoon Network by any chance? The name sounds familiar to me.

That cartoon sounds heavy. Really heavy.

Don't poo-poo Canadian cartoons though. There have been some really good ones. Namely Clone High, Undergrads, and anything made by Mainframe Entertainment.

It was very cartoony and exaggerated, that's one of the things that made it work so well I think.

Oh! Canada has been on cartoon network, late late at night on some weekend or other at some point I believe, but that wasn't where I saw this particular short. It was ages ago, way before CN existed, and I don't believe I recall what channel. Possibly PBS.

I never did see it again in all my watchings of Oh! Canada Crying or Very sad

I think they stopped showing it because it disturbed people or something.

But sadly, there are some things Kazaa cannot give me. I have searched often on kazaa for this cartoon short but have never found it

Remember, if they did indeed stop showing it, it would likely have been many years ago, and I think the ability of computers to capture video was shaky at best, and p2p didn't quite exist. Of course it's not helping that I don't remember the name of the short either, but I'd be hard pressed to find it ANYWHERE online today, I think.

To answer and clarify something addressed to me, the Anime forum would be strictly for "anime" discussion, you know, like Akira, Zoids, DBZ, etc. It occurs to me that this anime stuff is quite popular with today's youth, so I created a forum for it.

The topic at hand, though, would be better off in the Boardwalk - the general chat forum.

Well we'll see how it plays out I suppose. But I warn you, if I have to put all my cartoon talks on this board rather than a general animation / media board, then the ratio of animation talk to non will be quite disproportionate in my favor in the coming weeks.
