The bell at the top of the wharf. You always have to ring it to make the ship appear. It's part of the normal progression through the wharf.
Well crap I went through the whole place and didn't even see it.  I guess I have to go all the way back to the top.
btw, did you read about how I first got to the ship from lost bastille?  I killed lost sinner before even doing the wharf.  I didn't think you could do that.  How did I?
They borrowed title names of positions that exist in most organized religions, that's about it.

What religions other than catholicism christianity use those terms?

I'm saying that just because they borrowed those titles doesn't mean it's Christianity. The Way of White is about the equivalent of Christianity, but there's no Crucifix imagery or mention of Christianity-specific mythology.
Well you can always kill Sinner without going through the wharf, but in Scholar one of the Pharros doors that separates the post-Pursuer and post-Sentry areas doesn't exist (at the bottom of the cage elevator under Straid)
ok but it's more than the terms, it's the costumes too.  I mean, they can not mention christ or show crosses but it's like....yeah.  That's what it is.  And the architecture, the cathedrals, churches with pews, etc.
and saints, too
Yeah it's a fantasy religion loosely based on Christianity, but it wouldn't make sense to have those crucifix globes if that imagery doesn't exist

Borrowing costumes and concepts in addition to terms doesn't mean it's Christianity in a lore sense, that just means the creators of the game were inspired by Christianity in some aspects and not in others
There are a shitload of religious themes in the games, mostly catholic. I mean: sin, absolution, faith, deacons, saints, cathedrals, pontiffs, archdeacons, miracles, churches, holy, divine, and many more.  They don't have to mention a religion or show a real religious symbol.  It's all in your face already.

There's no crucifix on the globus, just a cross. And you're right, it wouldn't make sense to have it in the game since they seem to have made an effort to avoid the symbol of the cross in the game.  That probably explains why it isn't in the game.  So thanks for answering my question.
The Surge might be my favorite 3D Metroid lol
I need to play it
Well so much for ever getting my lucatiel trophy.  The NG+ flexile sentry fight lasted less than 10 seconds.  I had my highest defense armor with my very best shield and it was absolutely nothing to the little freddy krueger guys that were in the room.  Surprise!  They both immediately jumped me and shredded my health in the blink of an eye.  I don't think Lucatiel even made it into the room yet.  The wiki says she has to survive 3 of 4 boss fights.  If I had known that there was a slim to zero chance of beating flexile sentry on the first try then I wouldn't have even summoned her for it.  Now the questline is over, and it's only going to get harder in subsequent playthroughs.  You would think there would be a warning to make sure to either do her questline in NG or not summon her for the FS NG+ fight at all.
Not sure there's any point in continuing with this file because getting the trophy was the whole point  :(
Pretty sure you can just ascetic a boss and kill it with Lucatiel repeatedly and get credit every time
One shall stand, one shall ball.
You can. All else fails, go play with the Rotten for a while.
The only good elevator across all Soulsborne and Soulslike games is Undead Parish to Firelink Shrine.

That is all.
Is that because you never have to send it back down?
How does everyone keep getting it wrong
that way they have more time to load the next area. in theory anyways

not like that works when you can send the elevator back down after going up
The cage elevator in sen's fort does it too
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Tree wizard has encountered a problem.
what's that?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I dunno one of those big guys in Farron Keep. Followed me to the bonfire and, uh, just started floating? The doorway didn't like him going through it I guess.
