Well, finished watching season 5 of FiM. In general better than season 4 but still not really all that. Tomatobob should click this.

...but at least Adventure Time is in full swing now! The current season recently had an 8 episode long mini-series about Marceline and it was absolutely fantastic. AT best cartoon these days.

They pretty much are. It still holds true that Rarity gets the best solo songs. That song felt like a bit of a followup to Art of the Dress aka best FiM song, and the episode it was in did on the whole feel like a thematic sequel to Suited for Success. Was one of the actually good episodes of the season, too.

Also, I'd like to share this excerpt from my episode notes, about the season finale (a two-parter because of course it was):

So season two of Gravity Falls was apparently the last one, latest episode was the finale. 40 episodes in total, not that much. Maybe I should bother watching it at some point.

Gravity Falls finale was beautiful.

Though I am disappointed Wendy didn't pull a "Crazy Stupid Love" on Dipper with that envelope. :c
