I would esp like to find a place to talk about gaming that wasn't shitty, but I guess that's too much to ask for.  I mean, this place is great but that's only because there's a handful of people in it.  If there were hundreds of regular posters then it would be just as shitty as every other place.  So how do I find these small sites that have decent users?

  I said it's hard not to respond that way. I will sometimes state that I was X years old when a game came out, but beyond that I start to sound like a ranting geezer so I try not to go there.  I WANT to tell them that I was doing this or that when they were doodling on the wall with what they found in their diaper, but I wouldn't expect that to do anything but make me feel better for a second.

same here. well, i've never had irl friends who play games, at least not since grade school. basically the only reason i post here is to talk about games i'm playing. i've found that people who play a lot of games are mostly intolerable irl

opium you just need to be invited by someone, you don't even need to install the apps, you can run it in a browser which is all I'm prepared to do
