Also there's the issue where your vote in presidential elections means jack and shit if you live in the wrong state. You can lose the vote by 3 million and win the election.

When the first election you really remember is the one where W lost the vote and won anyway, your belief in the system as it is can be shaky at best. Then Trump goes and does the same thing and, man, fuck this.

I get the idea behind electoral votes versus popular vote. Like, how it's supposed to benefit less populous states. But maybe they could tweak the way they add up the numbers. Maybe count the number of votes in each state, divide that by the number of electoral votes the state carries, and use that to determine the actual electoral vote. Then whoever won that state would get a more precise credit towards winning the presidency? IDK.

fuckin love my new job so far. It's kinda weird because all of my coworkers are ladies that are old enough to be my mom, and then one dude who's in charge of mortgages, and then me.

Too bad it's going to take another year minimum before I get my own personal office so I can just play runescape all day at work :(
