A lot of them underestimate kids and think they have to talk down to them in media leading to most family material being utterly worthless. Part of the reason Batman the Animated Series was so good is that it avoided doing that. It still had the occasional wink wink nudge nudge but it was a fairly natural thing for those given characters to say and the show didn't really dance around serious elements that made for good stories anyway. Mask of the Phantasm really didn't.

And there's my BTAS rpost for the month!

WTH. Woke up this morning and one of our ganja plants is dead. They're up tho three feet tall now and the others look fine, just for some reason one of them is totally yellow and shriveled. Damn.

heh, our neighbors have some pretty big plants in their backyard that you can clearly see from my grandma's room. at least 5 plants, about 3-4 feet tall. Might have to hop the fence and see if I can't prune off some :P
