Yeah, my brother ended up watching it after I think one of his friends recommended it to him, which was before the movie. My father and I watched the movie with him, which we thought was alright, but after he convinced me to watch the series with him from the beginning I see why everyone was against how butchered the movie version is compared to the series.

While it's pretty obvious at times what audience it was initially created for, overall it's a lot better than I expected given the random clips of it I'd seen beforehand. I'd definitely recommend it as well, since there's a lot of great moments and plenty of character development as the series goes on, the antagonists included. (Well, some of them anyway)

My favorite thing about the movie is that there are several parts that are shot for shot, line for line exactly like the cartoon, but somehow wrong. And the dumbest things are totally different for no real reason. Pretty hilarious.

The best thing I can say about the show is that Zuko doesn't infuriate me. The bits a saw before had me convinced he was going to one of those characters I just can't stand, but they handle him extremely well.

I like turtles.

I watched the whole series in about a week when we first got Netflix, and really enjoyed it. All-around very well-executed. Also, Uncle Iroh is awesome.

As for the musical number, they don't always have full songs like that, and thankfully pinkie usually only sings little short songs. The other songs that aren't sung by pinkie though tend to be much better, namely Art of the Dress and Winter Wrap Up.

As for Avatar, totally badass show. My two little sisters watched the entire series and really loved it, and they're only 6 and 4 lol.

ok here's what happened:

my girlfriend on facebook posts a pic of her boyfriend. I commented that his beard was unabomber-esque. She then posts shit all over my wall calling me a cunt, a whore, and calling my fiancee a fat pig. I apologized to her and told her that I had no idea that my comment would upset her. She accepted my apology. I then asked her if she was going to apologize for all of the things she said about me and my beau - and she said NO!

So far I have done just that, but it is requiring a lot of effort not to at least point out her hypocrisy to her. I keep telling myself that she obviously doesn't agree or see it that way and nothing I could do or say is going to make her take a look at herself like that. I think she's just one of those people who is angry at the world because she let herself go s bad after HS and got totally fat, and even if she lost all the weight she would have a ton of skin hanging off of her. Her body is ruined and it's everyone else's fault.

Club 27 Goals

So the night before was probably one of the most depressing nights I've had in many months, but last night was totally amazing and more than makes up for it.

I start classes tomorrow though and I'm pretty much freaking out about getting lost or fucking up somehow. They called me to tell me that the classes or class got moved to room 322 instead, so yeah pretty anxious about it all.
