oh so that new harry potter movie came out tonight I guess. Or started about 20 minutes ago, according to all of my friends who went to see it, and didn't invite me because they were too busy choking on a million dicks.
I didn't see the movie before this one so I wouldn't be missing out on anything really. I liked the first movie much more I think because for the first half or so of the movie it was about a boy who was finding out about all this (literally) magical stuff and it was fun and exciting, but every single movie after that it just starts with a conflict and tries to have action and twists with a dash of romance or something on top.
The movies seemed to really struggle with the shift in tone the books took, felt a lot more sudden and weird than it did in the books to me for some reason.
I found it a little bizarre as well, because having read the books, the whole Harry Potter thing finished for me ages ago, yet the films are still going on, and they've opened up the Harry Potter World thing at Universal Studios. Just seems odd 'cause I've kinda 'been there, done that.'
Speaking of which, I was reading earlier that the winner of the Euro Millions is apparently going public. I'd go secretive, 'cause I wouldn't want all of the hangers on coming snooping around.
