Actually, I've been getting bogged down by the pressure of an old computer this week (not to mention my nose is running faster than the Marathon Man himself.) It's taken three days to get up and running the new computer I'm typing this on now, but hopefully I can actually feel like I'm DOING something now that I'm using a computer that runs much, much faster than the velocity of still molasses.

wow I live in a city that pretty much has a crime rate of a big 0. The worst things that go on here are the kids that smoke pot at the school, and that's pretty much it.

oh Kenny, did you post that on another forum? I guess it must have been a coincidence because a user from another forum posted the other day how his house got broken into, and his xbox, wii, computer, and TV got stolen.

I'm a university student living on my own... I don't have much money. I sold stock to buy that computer when I moved, I spent a lot on it... 2x250 GB HDDs, 24'' monitor, awesome tower, etc... the Wii I bought only three months ago.

Worst part is that the computer had a lot of personal value, that was two years of my life... and the fact that completely unknown people have been to my apartment, broken the door, gone through my stuff... all four apartments on my floor (8th damn floor) was broken into, as well as two others in the same house. I don't think I want to live there any more...

They took only the tower and monitor, they had plugged out everything including the small USB receiver for my mouse... I just don't understand what they're going to do with it since they're not going to get much for it... sure, the monitor, but since they didn't bring any cables whatsoever, no mouse, no keyboard - not even power cable - what the fuck are they thinking?

And I did post it elsewhere, but I have no XBox and they didn't take the TV, so that was not me.

They might just sell the parts from it, but it sure doesn't sound like they are very smart. That sucks they took your monitor. I got a 24' (might be 23', not sure) but since it's not flatscreen it's about 92 lbs, so I'm pretty confident nobody is gonna be stealing mine anytime soon.

The monitor is really what I care the least about, and even the Wii with stuff is easily replaceable if I bother to play through Corruption again... if I could get only my hard drives back with everything that was on them, I'd be happy again, because that was what really mattered to me...

I always keep all my important stuff on my iPod (the screen is broken, so now it's a 8gb thumb drive). If there's any important pictures I have, I put them on my photobucket. I usually have to reformat often, so the only bad things that happens is I have to install my games again (WoW takes about 7 and a half hours, probably longer since the new expansion).
