Well, imperfection could mean anything from "nowhere near pefect at all" to "just below perfect". imo it's not just "perfect" and "imperfect"; there are varying degrees.
Varying degrees of imperfection, yes, but there can only be one degree of perfection, otherwise perfection itself is imperfect and therefore a black hole of paradox sucks us all in and we're left perpetually falling and never landing due to time dialation all because perfection wasn't what it said on the box.
Exactly. Perfection is infinite. Which is why it is impossible. It is infinite skill, and infinity does not really exist anywhere. So it can't be almost at all.
But almost perfect, being imperfect, is about as far from perfect as you can get. Then there's almost almost perfect, then almost almost almost perfect, then...

God? If you believe in him, then you should understand.
I do. We will not comprehend until we get to him. Which makes it all the more wonderful. I can say that he was here, and there was no beginning, and there will be no end, but my mind still can't wrap itself around the concept of no beginning. I will understant when I get to him, however.

The infallible infinite Objectivity of God certainly does boggle my mind as well. And the concept alone still strikes down the very heart of my own intellect. I certainly too, do hope to reach Him to thus increase in relationship, and understanding of His infinite Majesty.
So since when does cheaper mean better? I always assumed cheaper meant it has less value. And why did the iPod allow Mr. Aran to be an outspoken supporter? They can buy more reliable sponsors than him.
Does anyone know how to work DivX? I now have windows XP and i need a tutorial or something to help me to get it to work. I really want to be able to play speedruns. Ive waited a while for this so could someone please help me?
Ipod isnt worth the money. Don't tell me it is, because NO WAY is it worth $300-$400. Especially when there are cheaper alternatives.
There are alternatives to (as near to as possible) perfection?
I don't see it as perfect at all. There are more durable alternatives with better sound quality, and far more convenient ways to put songs on. Please stop being a mindless Apple fanboy. At least Nate backs his opinions up with reasons. >_>
and pkmn, go here, download divx play bundle, double click that .exe and install. may have to reboot before it'll work. should be able to play divx .avis in windoze media player or anything really.
is the system to put songs onto the ipod really all that difficult ? I dont know, I have found some for just over $200. I only need some sort of mp3 player, I dont need the photo or video crap, I just need the music. I like how the ipod looks and I like the scroll menu [for some reason it appeals to me, the ability to make lists in lists in lists of songs, Gah it seems cool], but the price would definetly deter anyone who is an unemployed highschool student. [me ^^] I'd like to spend something around $150 - 220ish, have a little cash squirreled away that isn't going towards christmas gifts.. the Ideal purchase would have a good navigating menu with the ability to hold quite a bit of songs, maybe 1000 or so?

lol, I am about as far from an Apple fanboy as one can get. The only product I'd ever consider buying from Apple is their iPod.
I don't have many reasons concerning the technical stuff, because I've never owned an iPod. I've used my friends' multiple times and liked the ease of the interface, liked the simplicity of them, liked the amount of storage they have, as well as the extra features they include (video, photo, Podcasts, etc.). I've never actually uploaded songs to an iPod, but from the look and feel of iTunes, I don't see how it could be very cumbersome.
I, too, have been looking into MP3 players. Which product will give me good battery life, large amounts of space, and good quality(I don't know if different ones give varying qualities)
And one that's sturdy, I'm very active. I haven't read all of the past two pages so sorry if there was a definite choice already made.
