]wait, ark, are you telling me you are planning this? I mean, I understand planning it, but isn't that planning a little ahead?

Heh, well, we wanted to break up before college, and 17 August is a week before I leave (she leaves the following week). I figure she'll need the week to er, collect herself.

Sweet, me too. Now if only I had some new games ...

Hahaha, was this an intentional pun on...uhh...yeah...I know you said you stopped on the first disc, but still.

Also, Ark and I are in disturbingly similar situations, right down to the day.

Isn't higher education fun????

Actually, I think this is going to be a relief for me-- I'll have much more time on my hands.

Man, can't a guy get some sleep without a whole mess of stuff happening here?

Okay, TheCheruben... seriously, all this ridiculous pontificating has got to stop. Also stop being a total jerk about it. That's even more serious. You really don't have to be so dang sarcastic about it, it's just mean.

As far as this 13m13/Ark thing, um, I don't know what the heck is going on since I didn't see this stuff. Ark, can you um like, let the next one live long enough for me to see it please? Just so I know what's going on and can judge appropriately.

First disc of what?  I ask because the only thing I can think of is FF7 and I did actually see most of that in May or June.

I figured that was the reason.  Probably a good idea.  When my high school bf started talking about moving to Berkeley to be with me when I started classes it freaked me out -- that's when I realized how much I'd been looking forward to getting away from him.  So I'm glad he said something because otherwise I probably would've endured several more months of that horrible relationship rather than splitting up in April of my senior year.

Sure you won't need it yourself? :P  She may be glad to have all the extra time on her hands too.  (I know I was, but you're probably not nearly the jerk my ex was.)

Well, I know I told you about my situation involving my best friend, and that's still pretty much the case, so I'd have to admit I'm looking forward to breaking it off. But I really do think it'll hit her harder than it'll hit me (she's even said so herself), as frankly she's very very attached to me.
Also, I'm not a very emotional sort of person-- it's very easy for me to change my life significantly.

I tried to quote you, but I got an error message saying exactly "Sorry, but only can reply in this forum." <_< Anyways, I just discovered it. So whetever.

Ark: I've gotten complaints from third parties on this one.

EDIT: Okay, 13M13, if you really quoted the entire damn post, that's just totally annoying. I don't think Ark would outright lie to me.

yeah, ark simuposted and I couldn't be bothered going back and quoting your post so I just deleted mine.

(historians should note that I pointed out the about:mozilla thing has been around since ancient netscape versions)

Heh.. me too. My guess is that once he realized that he was going to be defeated, he killed himself.

Also, that one Von Richter dude reminded me of Dai, since his arguement made no sense and he talked trash to me. (which, if it occured in real life, he'd end up with 1 less tooth and kidney.)

Same here. If it is more than 1 1/2 scrolls down, I can't read it. It's like a blur.

stop complaining about deleted posts... ark deletes mine all the time. It's a natural process.

My dumb post -> lame joke -> Ark's annoyance -> deletion -> me posting it again.
The best part is, if you do it enough, you get banned! :D!

Oh, don't take things for granted. Repeated offenses equal banning. Forum rules must be enforced. Even if you may be more annoying than rulebreaking. I wouldn't know, I don't keep track.

I'll make sure to keep that in mind.  Thanks for the advice.  I didn't quite know that.

Okay, now you've been warned, 13M13. There's no need to be an asstot just because one of your posts got deleted. You're not above the rules just because you think you're clever.

I'm being an "asstot" because many of my posts have been deleted in the past by your whim.

Quote from Arkarian:

Again, discriminating cataracts?  Need we take a stroll through the forums?  And I don't think your heavy-handed, undermining form of moderation fits the bill of competently and appropriately doing your job, but I don't imagine I'm "allowed" to further push the discussion in that direction.

I did quote the entire post.

I also used the [size] tags to make it appear much smaller.

Honestly, I don't much care...TheCheruben's reply to Mangadood just reminded me of a clip from Arrested Development...

...but I'm not sure what place this power has (for this moderator at least), considering Ark's subjective goal and use of it.  He's been rather hit-and-miss with regard to "retarded posts that have no meaning or value", no?  The privilege of deleting posts is more than just a game of whack-a-mole.

Yes, Saber was pointing out the immensely nonsensical nature of cheruben's posts.  Could you try, just for a while, not replying to posts unless you're absolutely sure you know exactly what the poster means?

1)And you'll be better received if the energy you put into your posts goes toward being easily legible (such as regards spelling) rather than dozens of text-formatting tags.  2) That's generally the case in life, not just here.  3)"Nevertheless references abound on the web..."  A great many things abound on the web; that doesn't make them all credible. 4)December 25th is not when the days start growing longer.  The solstice is the 21st. 5) How do the chromosomes work, in your mind?  I'd like to run it by the biologists I work with, so do tell.

1)Better received by you, and by some. Everyone is different. 2) Er... that's not generally the case from what i've seen, seems to depend of the group of people-sorts. There's enough highly intelligent places where creative distinction is desirable not to mention a great relief from the incessant densification resultant of focus toward secularly correct patterns.
Are you actually trying to justify bad spelling and grammar as being a writing style?
Quote from TheCheruben:
3) References abound= found several times a page in search engines for 1st 7 pages(as far as i cared to go)*.  .... I'd beware "credibility"; we don't understand enough of reality --- nor have access to enough of the knowledge of the past nor what exactly was meant when the parts of it that GOT recorded were written --- to know anything at all really.

She's just asking for links to which sources you are using in particular. That whole credibility rant looks to me like you setting up an escape route if your sources turn out to be bogus.
