Alright, I got a new computer. 2gb of ram. yea, 2 gb, fools. (prev-512 mb) 366 gb hdd space (prev-19 gigs)
can watch and record cable tv, video capture technology, the whole shebang... I also got a widescreen monitor. A giant widescreen monitor. I love it, it is the best thing to ever happen to my desk. Although it stretches out starcraft a bit. But hey, There is no wide image that I can't handle now.
Speaking of PCs, has anyone seen HP's new TouchSmart? No, no, no, hear me out: it's a non-Mac all-in-one that actually looks nice. And it's touch screen works very very well; I was playing around with one at Office Depot and felt like I never wanted to use the mouse again (of course, it also accepts a mouse). Using my finger to drag widgets (er, gadgets), play Mahjong, and even doing simple stuff like resizing windows felt really nice. The Vista interface (first time I'd used it) felt a lot nicer than XP, but the OS overall didn't seem worth it for a PC user, except if you want something pretty to look at.
