I just noticed this majickal page. I'm just wondering if it's a mod, a result of upgrading the board, or just something that nate never decided to use until now.

Also, I'm somewhat surprised that tph or m2k2 aren't on that list.
Thread title:
they are? :P

and yeah, it's a mod. the purpose of adding it was to reduce ignorance in forum viewers. if anyone has any suggestions for tags to add, shoot.

Umm, and how exactly does the Smart Tags system work? 'Cuz if it works the way I think it does, it seemingly wasn't doing its job a few minutes ago. >_>
replaces the first (afaik) occurrence of a keyword with an html link. only does this in original posts; doesn't happen in quote blocks or anything like that afaik. it also breaks links if the keyword happens inside a link, as seen here (near the bottom of the first post).

I just noticed that in the 'topic review' box in the post message screen the tags don't work.

That M2k2 guy
How about SJF, TBJ, 3BJ, IBJ, BBQ, HBJ and so on?
good work man!
Wow, I noticed that my first post had changed. I wondered if someone had edited it, but it appears you have installed some fancy feature here.
That's... weird :)
Do you think there could be an option to not use smart tags in a post to prevent link breaking? Or put some kind of code to recongnize it's a link and not smart tag it.
cyborg, cyborg cyborg

Regular smart tag, no smart tag and url of your choice. :P

TRH is so loveable. :)
Aw, this saves a lot of people a lot of time.  Awesome.
Code:
cyborg, [i][/i]cyborg [i][/i][url=http://www.metroid2002.com/forum/]cyborg[/url]

Regular smart tag, no smart tag and url of your choice. :P
I'm sure everyone wouldn't want to insert
Code:
[i][/i]
tags just to get their smart tags working how they want it.

What I meant was just a box you can check that would disable smart tags for that post, or a box you can check in your profile to ignore all smart tags.

I think the point of having Smart Tags on the forum is to not avoid them. They're links to good resources that members (new and old) could learn something from.

And seriously dude,
Code:
[i][/i]
does not take that long to type.
Saber, you say what I think.  Can I marry you?

Especially since you can just very easily press the italics button twice to get "".

Ooo ooo Ark got BBcoded.

Fuck you.

Fixed. :P
How about DivX and VLC?  I see more links to those…
I notice "bsj" is one of those; how about "bs jump", as it's also known as that?
