I would guess by being observant enough to note a sudden drop in the number of Registered Users, displayed at the bottom of the page, generated by a file called overall_footer.tpl, I imagine.  Laughing

I wouldn't call it a "Ban," anyway; it's just a deletion of the account. The user can always sign up again.
