What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Recently I have begun a project to fill a sketchbook, page by page, with a single species of dinosaur each, returning to my original true love, paleontology.  I then give them a simple color treatment.  I try to do a reasonable amount of research before I draw each one, and I prefer to have fossil photos or rigorous skeletal diagrams to work from (though not always possible).

Thread title:
One shall stand, one shall ball.
This is the most noble quest anyone has undertaken. Dinobook has my full support.

I fully support this too coz I have an avid palaeontology interest.

I have an encyclopedia called "The complete Illustrated encyclopedia of Dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures". 1000 entrants in total but maybe around 800 of those being actual dinosaurs. Nice illustrations of each entry too, from the smallest to the largest. I'd look into acquiring this book or one of similar scope to help with your project.

Here it is - i think it's an updated version to my one, it looks the same but it has a blue frame instead of mine which is orange. It says somethings slightly different on the front cover too. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/075481730X/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=1840281529&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=01H9JXYYP153W60MCB0F

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
I'd like a life-size drawing of Argentinosaurus that I can print out and tape together. Razz

Nice work.
I'd like to know if bruhathkayosaurus actually existed. I think a tibia bone discovery of it was some 29% larger than Argentinosaurus tibia gah
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Thanks for the suggestion Behemoth, I'll look into it.

And Bruhathkyosaurus...  eh.  Near as I can tell it was a petrified tree trunk.  The scientists who supposedly originally found it misidentified it as a ginormous theropod of all things, so I wouldn't take their word for anything, and the remains have since apparently been destroyed due to a flood, so it's lost to science and I think it would be best to forget about it.
I guess yeah. That much bigger than Argentinosaurus does seem way too excessive, and belonging in the realm of fantasy, let alone a therepod, which is a bipedal carnivore type ie tyranosaurus right ? Although even if it did exist, some scientists rightfully classified it as a gigantic titanosaur herbivore which is only slightly more feasible.

Anyway my favourite dinosaur is Giganotasaurus, which was the inspiration for my username on SDA - Giganotabehemoth87 lol. It was discovered in 1993 the year of Jurassic park release which ironically features a T-Rex, practically the same species as Giganotasaurus except Giga was larger. I thought that was fairly ironic.

Alright, it's been a while since anyone has posted in here, but I have been silently updating it all year, and I just thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention that I have completed the project and filled the book.  One hundred dinosaurs in the bag.
Good job. aiwebs_011
