Yes, when I saw those in an ordinary jewelry store I was amazed; I'd been looking for triangular earrings but didn't expect to be this successful. I saw them first in white gold, then found the yellow and ended up buying both pairs (the white gold being a better complement to a necklace I'd also bought because it reminded me of something in Zelda). Those were my only personal souvenirs of my two weeks in Vancouver. I now have the dubious distinction of having earrings to match my suitcase.
Coincidental, I'm sure; it was some conventional-looking store in a mall and they were mixed in with a bunch of other earrings. If I hadn't been on the lookout for flat triangular earrings for several years now I'd never have found them. (Independent of Zelda, equilateral triangles and hexagons are my favorite polygons.)
Dude, he clearly said the one on the right was his mom and the one on the left was his girlfriend.
What about from the perspective of the people on the boat, makes sence. They see it as he described with mom on right, him in middle, and GF on the left.

You're the only one out of 4 people who actually understands me
Wha? I understood you perfectly. I think the fact that other people misunderstood my question (about what country you were in) is what caused all the confusion.
