in my experience, the intellectual capacities of the flautists were seriously outdone by those of the percussionists.

edit: just in general? german language was my major, and i had two minors: japanese and linguistics. now i'm going to get my master's in linguistics.

edit: ohhhhh, it just hit me why he asked that - the prior picture of myself (over in the social topic). sorry, i should have gone to bed hours ago.

I believe I can safely say that not only did the flute section* in my high school band my sophomore year exceed the percussion section in intellect by far, it was undoubtedly the brainiest section of the group.  I am reasonably certain this continued through the rest of my high school years, though eventually the average was brought down a bit by additional flutists.

i don't have to wake up until 2:00 or 3:00 pm, because i usually don't work until 6:00 pm (until 12:00 am). so actually if i went to bed, that would be bad, because i would wake up too early and be tired at work, which is no fun. this is very different from only a month ago, when i woke up at 6:00 am every day.
