This song is an original piece I did and was inspired by a little story. The story goes as follows:
Once upon a time there was a warrior, one who slayed dragons and brought justice to civilization. But one night, as he traveled home, he noticed something about his home village: all the lights were out. Not a candle lit or a torch burning. All that could be seen was darkness and all that could be heard were crickets. As the warrior came to his home village, he was tired and needed a place to rest, but there was none. Most of the residents had a "Welcome" mat on their porches but it was apparent that none meant it when compared to the warrior, for this was his home village and he needed a place to rest, but there was none. And thus, the warrior slept on the ground.
In this song, I tried to capture the sense of loneliness in the warrior's heart and quiet village with no life except for the crickets. I hope you enjoy my song. Oh, and it's supposed to loop.
