Actually Tooz, you used Exclamation

to mean a half arrow. Don't think there's any official emoticon for a negative arrow yet.

Thanks for the feeback everyone :) And now for my first foray into computer art:

Part 1: The drawing... took all of 5 minutes

Part 2: The coloring... this part took the longest because I was experimenting with different programs and the best ways to color it in... 4 hours

Part 3: The editing... took me 15 minutes in Photoshop

I know its pretty basic to look at, but it's all mine :D
The characters and swords were going to be a basis for a story/comic type thing... but I haven't picked it back up in a while.

Why don't we just make nev arrows to rate stuff? Like we could have a link in the post page that you can click and it will give you "rating" emoticons. It would be so much easier. Or, we could have something where you type in the rating, and you get a emoticon that shows the rating in numbers. It could be like a code... [rating] [/rating] or :#: Replace # with rating number. I also think that the scale should go up to ten.

Nah the arrows are cool! and due to the half arrows the ARS allready has a 10 segment scale.

I just started rating things with arrows. I didn't expect anyone to copy me. I certianly didn't expect to have to explain the rules of it.

I'm not bothering with a hack for something we can do ourselves already. If you don't like the ARS, use something else. No one is twisting your arm.
