Oh, It's always wonky like that. Back when I first joined I maintained a steady stream of 17 per day, which dwindled to about 12 per day until I made Prime in about a month or something crazy like that, so I was always at the top there, except when someone new joined. It always acts like they've posted a ton when in fact they haven't.

That's not why it's weird. That person has been on the board 1 day, and has managed to rack up 9.69 posts. How do you post .69 of a post?
EDIT: I just noticed that Mother Brain usernames are 2000 - 1999 posts.

Simply put, that section just gives bizarre and wrong numbers for low post count people. You want the other section that talks about posts per day.

if you did the default install, it's already there. just need to switch the text encoding. go to view -> text encoding -> japanese (shift jis).
edit: guess there's a bug in the ranks statistics module. just read that as 2000-.

Hm, thats a good question. I just remember the chatroom on esper.net that was named #metroid.
I noticed that a lot of the first 25 posters were names that i recognize from the chat (whom never really posted on the forums), so, i'm guessing the chatroom was up before the forums were.
I do remember hearing about MHQ before m2k2 though...
