Well, here's the story. :P

A friend of mine and I recently saw a promo image drawn by fan-favorite MegaMan comic artist Patrick Spaziante of X and Zero, which previews his graphical take in the upcoming MegaMan X comic series, and we both agreed that it was screaming at us to be turned into a wallpaper. :P (Click to enlarge.)

So we fired up Photoshop, and among the HEAVY cleaning/repainting/reconstructing job we had to do*, we came up with a creation that we're both pretty proud of. :)

Instructions:
1. Select your resolution size from the following links:
1280 x 960
1152 x 864
1024 x 768
800 x 600

2. Set as Desktop Wallpaper.

3. Enjoy. :D

Comments and criticism welcome. ;)

Wow, that was some heavy editing.  That background on the promo... ouch.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Aww, I thought it said "art by Patrick Swayze." That woulda been a surefire 5 arrows.
Viking
Precursor
Evil or Very Mad, because there's no 1600x1200 version. If there was, I'd use it. I've grown rather tired of Blossom.

Edit: How stupid I am. I exchanged Blossom today for the front cover of the first volume of Blade of the Immortal.
My parents insist on having the desktop set to 1280 x 1024.  Why is it 960?  Is that the same aspect ratio as the others?
直死の魔眼使い
1280 x 960 is in the same aspect ratio of a normal monitor. A monitor capable of displaying 1280 x 1024 (such as yours, ShadowMagus) is a widescreen monitor, and since they're so rare, very few people actually make wallpapers for those. Still, I can do versions of my wallpapers to fit you guys, if you'd like. :)
Cool, I have a widescreen moniter.  I feel special.

Maybe that's why the black bars don't show up as much when watching a 16:9 DVD on my comp.
Nice work DominicanZero!
