Nah, you still shouldn't break the fourth wall to make the joke in my opinion. Imply the joke by having the characters implicate it in dialogue while talking about something else. That's one of the tricks to good writing.
EDIT: Oh and by the way, there's an unwritten rule saying that you can simupost in the Art Forum if you're putting up new art.

4th wall: The 'wall' between the viewer and the actor. Having the actors speak to the audience is something that is not reccomended, as it's very hard to make the joke work that way.
Hm...I suppose that may not have been the right term to use in hindsight, but what I mean is the narrator who says "here is what should have happened". Imo the best way to swing it would be for it to just happen like it does in the game and have the SA-X say something like "there's no way someone just USED this elevator...certainly not SAMUS or anything...guess I'll jump over it and walk away". Something like that.
EDIT: How the hell did I manage to tri-dupli-post?

Hitting the submit button impatiently? Happens a stupifying amount on my website... :? I'll get, like, the same post there seven times. It's not really a simupost rule-break as they aren't doing it intentionally, it just happens. Nothing a lil' mod snip-snipping won't fix. :P
I've been off the computer for awhile, playing GTA San Andreas alot lately, it's loads of fun.... I'll try to make one soon, I have an idea for one, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the story, it's just for fun. Anybody know where I can get Fusion Tile Sets? That way I don't have to play the game to make the comics?
