I stole this topic from another board. But that's okay. Here's my thoughts:

Ender's Game - This is just BEGGING for a videogame adaption. So many options to choose from... You've got the real-time squad tactics of the battle room with complete 3-dimensional movement in zero grav. You've got the command school space tactics simulation, which is designed to be like a game within the book itself, so barely anything needs to be changed. There's the arcade room in the battle school, with tons of great minigame potential. They could even go with a dumbed-down version of the mind game. Huge potential here.

100 Bullets - I know this is already being made into a game, but it's being made into a gunshippy game. Someone needs to make a REAL game based on the simplist premise behind the comic: what would you do if you could get away with murder? The game would start out with your character meeting Agent Graves, where he gives you the magic gun and a list of targets that have contributed to ruining your life (and just for fun, make them tie into the Trust or the Minutemen somehow). The choices you make against these people should affect the overall course of the game. It should be set up like an adventure-style game, with some kind of  melee combat engine, and of course some shooting, but under NO circomstances should you ever get another weapon or more than 100 bullets. That's how the freakin' game should be done!

Batman - Been done, but they need to take a cue from Spider-Man 2 the game here. Immagine a fully functional Gotham City to explore on foot or in the Batmobile, or even swinging on a batline. Immagine actually being required to SOLVE crimes, picking up clues from various crimescenes. How cool would it be to be given a riddle from the Riddler and actually being required to use your head to solve it? Or how about being connected to the rest of the Bat-team via Oracle in a MGS-like codec menu, where you can call Nightwing or Robin or Huntress or the various other Gotham vigilantes for advice or backup. If you ask me, Batman is almost more suited to the GTA treatment than Spidey is.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Yeah, there's a game with that name (I think), but I'm talking about the shorts that ran on Cartoon Network made by the Samurai Jack/Dexter's Lab people. Jedi have never been cooler than they have in that cartoon, and it would be too awesome to see that style translated properly into a game. Combat would be intense to say the least.

That's all I got for now. Anyone else?

Batman sounds really cool.  I'd play that.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Apparently Activision is now working on a game based off of Ultimate Spider-Man.  And if it's anything like Spider-Man 2 the game, then it should be damn fine.

No one else has any ideas?  :(

An Ultimate Spider-Man game, to me, seems pointless. The appeal of the Ultimate line is a reimagining of the universe while keeping most fundamentals the same. In game form however, it would translate into being just about the same thing. They could do some new things with the boss battles I guess, but overall Spider-Man is still Spider-Man and the mechanics would be the same. And after showing us how a Spidey game SHOULD be done with Spider-Man 2, there's no real point in deriving from that. I guess it could equate to being Spider-Man: Vice City. That wouldn't be so bad.

Truthfully, i cant think of anything, but only for the sole fact that nowadays, there are tons of movies and shows being made into games,(American Idol?!) and most comics are being turned into movies, which in turn is being made into games. Maybe it should be turned around, as in, which games would you like to be seen as a movie/show?
THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!! I would love to do ALL The games on there.(Even get to spin the showcase wheel and get a dollar)

They should make a game based off that show Pokemon. Imagine, you could catch your own and battle them and stuff. Collect the badges, go to the Pokemon League... if they made this game I'd buy it.

Really, though. I'd like to see someone try his hand at converting Crocodile Hunter into a video game. None exist to my knowledge. You could rescue animals and stuff... I dunno. Just a thought.
Willow...

yes, it is the typical movie the parents buy to their children to leave them alone. The movie's old but anyway. It'll something like LOTR only without too much characters and w/o a deep story in it. But it could be good... as a rip-off.

EDIT: cool. I'll looking forward for the ROM somewhere... if there's still one around..
There already is a Willow game for the NES.

K, here's another one... how about Lord of the Flies. Maybe not a direct translation of the plot, but the idea of it... a group of people stranded on a remote island that you have to make survive. It could be sort of set up like a RTS, with you not only trying to gather and manage resources but also maintain political harmony within the group. Eventually it would facition and you'd be left with a few scant members under your control that you'd have to keep alive as the others hunt you down. You'd have to do stuff like gather food, maintain a fire, build shelters, explore the island (maybe have run-ins with the "beast" and the Lord of the Flies later on) and other survival-type stuff. The conch could also be a special item that you could pass around, doubling as a device to call everyone together and signifying the current leader of your group.

I think it could be fun.

Heh, the Crocodile Hunter, I never thought about that before. That actually wouldnt be too bad, but it would be the weirdest thing ive ever seen. Ok, maybe not, but i know i would probably play it.
