Twice, I posted a message and this message came up: you can not post another message so soon after your last; come back later and try again. But the message was STILL UP! Is this an error or something nate put into the site?

that should only appear if you try to post two messages right after another. did your message post successfully, even though it gave that message?

I think your right; I clicked submit twice before because I thought it wasn't running.

That doesn't seem to happen to me... once I accidentally double posted from Submitting twice.

If you click the Submit button fast enough, you will double post, but if you click it once, let it post, then hit the Back button and post again, you will usually get the message.

This happens for me only when I try to Edit something very quickly.  I click back once and then Submit again and it goes through, though.

yeah, i turned the delay down a long time ago because i thought it was really annoying. i think phpbb is a piece of cake for a serious hacker to take over, anyway ... cute little things like that don't make a bit of difference.
