ironically, it is precisely that mod that caused the damage in that screenshot if i am right. however without a duplicable situation i can't really do anything about it.

    Not easily if at all. It's happened to me before so technically I reproduced it I guess. I would need a test topic (or moderation immunity) just to try. I was in the middle of a message editing snafu. Quotes were involved.It doesn't really bother me though, I feel special when it happens. ;)

i was thinking it may be a braindead proxy truncating or otherwise mutilating the page data. that part of the forum is really sensitive to that so i'd guess it'd appear there if anywhere. do you ever get slight corruption on other sites? and is your isp aol?

You're likely right. I am on a quirky dialup (not AOL :P ).
