Wasn't that it was rare so much as it was sold with a strategy guide so it had a huge ass box that ate shelf space in stores and the marketing literally said "This game stinks". Which is perfect if you've played the game but not so good if you haven't. It was poorly handled all around.

Oh I completely forgot about those parts of MGS... ugh. I almost always skip those cut scenes. I actually just gave up on Little King's Story because of the completely fucking horrible Japanese weirdness. Seriously that game's story and cut scenes should have been completely re-done.

whaa i love skies. just replayed the gamecube version actually. great game, would be cool to get a remake with better draw distance - it looks almost laughable on the gamecube now (but still better than it did on the dreamcast).

That's bullshit. Accessibility for PC games has always been the main factor in why people bought a separate expensive box to play their games on, because people weren't as tech-savvy. Now more people are tech-savvy, and yet DRM and shit like that is the new way of deterring people from PC gaming.
