Heh, apparently the Gamecube price cut paid off big time... sales are 20% greater than the PS2, and a whopping 145% greater than the X-Box. Shows what happens when you don't have a Swiss Army Console: you can set your price quite low.  Laughing

Well really, right now there's no reason NOT to buy a Gamecube. It's dirt-ass cheap and comes with a FREE awesome game and/or awesome Game Boy Player. And with all the spectacular exclusive games you find only on the Gamecube (Metroid Prime, Zelda, Viewtiful Joe, Rogue Squadron, F-Zero, Mario Kart... ect. ect.) there's just no reason for any self-respecting gamer to be without one, regardless of prefered console.

Actually, nobody cares about Nintendo anymore... it's all about GTA and Halo.

By the way, in Japan, Metroid Prime has actually outsold Halo... MP is Japan's #29 top seller, while Halo is #3  Laughing

I'm pissed because I paid £150 for my NGC and now they're selling for just under £80... Bastards! >_<
Oh well, can't be helped. Bit I did spend 150 quid for just one game, well, until others came out that I wanted. >_>

By the way, I don't have source at the moment, but with the new price in the UK, the GCN sold 400% more than usual Shocked
