i'm looking at that thing right now.  couple problems.

notes don't 'hold' (they last for one beat).  i don't know what to do about this.

oh yeah, there's just one more thing.  the darn thing won't play, at least on either of my computers.

Are you referring to the main little tune on that MP3?

I just downloaded Meridian Advance.  It's like having the Gameboy on my comp.  The quality is that good.

EDIT:  Seriously man, thanks for those links.  Metroid 2 seriously has the best music of all the Metroid games, and now I have a pixel-perfect recreation of the soundtrack on my comp.

drag the notes over more than 1 bar to make them hold
and if it doesnt play then you dont have a good sound card or theres something wrong with midi playback software.
