Error uploading picture

Just a quick note, I have tried a few times over times over the past day or so to upload an avatar picture, jpg format, under 120x120 but I keep getting a page of error messages. Is there a known problem or shall I post the error messages in detail? Im asking because there were about a pageful or them, unable to open data stream and stuff.

For some reason, our little avitar database is broken, and we can't get it to work again. You need to link to your avitar from an offsite source, sorry. :?

Thats no problem, I thought it was just me being wierd or something. I know what to do to fix it now.
