What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I still have nightmares of Blubber giving me the "you lose" speech, and I haven't played DKR in years.....
The Dragon and Octopus were NOTHING to Wizpig.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Which Wizpig race?  Not that it really matters, because they're both extremely difficult.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I remember I got all the..things..unlocked in that (medals or coins or whatever), but that was in a couple weeks after getting it then I got something else or traded for another game..

Diddy Kong Racing had a story? Wtf was it?

I used the mouse, but I don't remember her name (Sherry or something?).

It is kinda funny how friendly Conker was in it, then his game comes out later...

I'll post the story later, but it did have one.

The mouses name was Pipsy.  Where did you get Sherry?

Yes Conker was nicer in it, then CBFD, but He did have another game where he was a nice guy.  It was for the GBC, but I never got it, so I don't know.

...  All of the Mario Kart games?  Obviously you haven't played Double Dash yet.

dude? shut up! double dash is good, but dkr is the god of racing games. i have to disagree though with you chet, tiptup sucks, diddy is the best!!
btw, the GBC conker game was "MR.NUTZ"

just so you know.
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Erm... I'm pretty sure it wasn't. And what's with the double post? Don't do that please. Edit is your friend.
It was called Conker's pocket tales, if I'm mistaken.
No you're not, that's correct..I traded that in to add up to the $50.00 I got from EB games.. My GBC sold for about 15 or something dollars that was more than this guy's Splinter Cell game.. I was impressed. Ahem back on topic, this game's charecters can be rated like Mario Kart's were.. Tiptup, Pipsy= small, fast; Conker, Diddy, Tinza, Bumpa ( Not sure about last two)= Medium, fast/slow; Crunch, Banjo, Drumstick= Heavy, Slowwwww
Ah yes, DKR. The thing that really sets this apart from other racers, is the multiplayer story mode; that was a nice touch if you wanted to get progress done with a friend. Though if I remember correctly, if your buddy screwed up, then you were pretty much done for.  The only other memory I have is of landing planes on the Jetsons-esque buildings in that one space track. And that one track with the death star run imitation.

(BTW: Conker's Pocket Tales was a decent game, up until when you got to choose one of two quests, one in the swamp, one in the ocean. The swamp one was impossible because the boss was too hard, and the ocean was too hard because the controls were too fucked up to make the mandatory minigames winnable.)

The problem is that you have to do both in the end.. And then it just gets harder.
Ahh, I remember DKR... I didn't really like the multiplayer in it, but I loved the concept of traveling to differnt areas for different tracks.
"Hey! This is for you! *gold balloon*"
TT was a blast to get.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Oh, Sherry was the mouse in Ultima 6, that's what I was thinking of.
Ultima 6 had a mouse?

...then again, why would I know? I played it when I was ten. And I never got out of the starting castle.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Then you've seen the mouse, but you may have killed her.  :o

She was needed? to get the Rune of Valor in Jhelom (mouse hole in the bar).

That being said, F-Zero GX wipes them all away. Like, totally leaves them in the dust and/or smashes them to bits.

F-ZERO GX is my favorite and I do believe it is the best.

Win! F-Zero GX > All.

DKR was okay, but it just doesn't feel as smooth as Mario Kart does, and the characters were too imbalanced (T.T. more like God). I don't care much for Double Dash, the fact that you don't jump before sliding completely threw me off when playing it. It's cool when playing as a team but that's really all I like about it.

One thing I did like about DKR was the battle stages. They were fun. Especially the darkwater beach. :)
Yes those were fun.. Can't remember Darkwater Beach.. someone care to illustrate?
I believe they is referring to the water one where you're on the hovercraft (I loved those things)
You know,if you think that wizpig is hard, your a wimp,a shame for the industry...

well, the dragon really got me frustrated,i tried 100+ times,i always trew my controller on the floor out of the anger...

But,me and my friend where flickerbatting around,we released a when we reched zipper, guess wath, the turbo was GREEN,with rainbow clouds, very fast,if you do that in the races, and hit A again when the smoke is almost gone, you can beat wizpig with like 1/2 lap in front of him :p

try that,you just speed around....
I thought the game was okay, but the controls were imposible for the  Hovercraft... I remeber throwing my controler at the N64 out of anger... I do the same thing to all my systems, I'm horrible :(
I throw my gameboy since it dosen't have a controller...(sorry I got of topic Embarassed )
DKR was fun.  The Octopus and the Dragon were my arch nemesises.  The best to beat them was to use the Badger for the Octopus race (he was best with hovercrafts) and Diddy for the Dragon (best in plane).  Yeah, good game but no where as good as MKDD.  Before you try to prove me wrong, try a 4 [human] player versus 9 lap race in Bowser's Castle with the item setting on frantic.  Teh fun-ness.
I was a big fan when this came out. I haven't a clue how many times I've beat it, Adventure 1 or 2. I had a lot of playtime with this game.
This game was fun.

Still, I gotta take Mario Kart 64 or Super Mario Kart over it anyday.
red chamber dream
Super Mario Kart kills Mario Kart 64. Super Mario Kart kills DKR. Double Dash is the best Nintendo racing game. MK64 is my least favourite.

And Syl, I liked what you said awhile back about Rush, although I like the original San Francisco Rush the best: Such cool and fun stunts to do with your car, as unrealistic and corny as it was...ah great times.
