we'll definitely have a dark style by default, it's just that there is a lot of improvement to be made on my modified version of smartdark. also, phpbb are being morons and keeping their actual default style for 3 secret, so it's very difficult to make any kind of solid predictions about what the final m2k2 default style will look like right now.

No worries there; as long as we end up having a dark style, I'm cool with it. However, I was just stating that I personally quite like the color combination used in SmartDark, and would like to see something akin to it in the new forum iteration. The positioning and overall structure can change from the ground up for all I care; I'm just stating that I like the graphic tune.
Of course, if it's going to be TRH that's going to be in charge of it, I'm sure that ain't going to happen. Oh well, can't please everyone every time. :P
