This is a humorous comic series that which depicts the awkward adventures of our two favorite Space Pirates and their buddies that they meet along their journey.

The first one and a half takes place on a game in Ridley's Crocomire Advance, and soon after that, the two find theirselves on a journey to end the reign of one of their own minions.

Along the way, Ridley and Kraid get shoved off the Mothership forcibly, and have to build a base under the surface of a barren planet to survive.

IMPORTANT: This comic has been rated PG-13 for constant rude humor, strong swearing, sexual references, alcholic references, and violence and gore.

it looked pretty crappy and was hard to read. plus it wasn't exactly funny,
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
A telephone operator reported that a Caller speyed a spade.

While not as blunt as BioSpark, I did have the same problem.  Some were hard to read, and I often found that I was reading a box and it didn't make sense, only to discover that it was supposed to be read in a different order.  Remember that we read top to bottom, left to right.  The text boxes will automatically be read in that order, so if you have whoever is speaking second at the top, it throws the scene.

Did any of you read past the first few ARK installments?

By Super ARK, I already implemented that technique after realizing my originally used technique led to confusion.

@Ryu: Thanks for your opinion, but how far have you actually read?

Three panels and I couldn't take it anymore. But my sprite comics weren't exactly that much better when I was around your age, so whatever.

Yes, I read the first two, the last one, and a couple of random ones in the middle.

Yeah, but ARK I is a horrid first impression when I look back on it...the later comics are much more professionally made, if you ask me. There's always room for improvement, but any real flaw in the visual quality in Super ARK is either acknowledged or unnoticable from what I see. I began this comic almost directly after I learned basic spriting, so yeah, ARK I sucked. But I think I learned somewhat fast...

Obviously, bit-mixing is apparently bad. But I didn't learn that people found it bad until around when I completed ARK III, so I just ignored it. As you can see now, the styles are -mostly- matched by the end of Super ARK. Now I partially know why bit-mixing is bad: it is unnecessary extra effort put in.

@Quietus: So how was Super ARK in terms of quality, in your opinion? Was it a major improvement at all?

i don't think ms paint makes it professionally made.

Okay...the later ones look professionally made when compared to the first few.

Besides, you don't need to pay money for PhotoShop to be a professional spriter. Money doesn't buy expertise. Not implying I am a professional spriter, just saying.

Graphically, it had improved, but I think you planned it to be, as you used more modern sprites.  The story was OK, but was still riddled with 1337 talk, which instantly turns me away.  I would prefer comical situations, rather then 'funny' talk.

I also thought you put more effort into the last one, so props for that.

the meaning of 'professional' is getting paid enough for something in order to earn a living. no one on these boards is anywhere close to a professional spriter.

Super ARK II: The Return of the Last Metroid

That's Super ARK II, or ARK IX. Depends on what you're keeping up with.
