Well, this is my first post here. I made an 8-bit version of Lower Brinstar's BGM from Super Metroid. The .rar file includes a .mp3 file and a .nsf file. It might not sound 8-bit styled becayse I needed to rip .wav files from a .mid and import them into the song as DPCM samples. They bugged me at first but I finally got rid of that. Enjoy!

I thought the same thing, so maybe I'm just paranoid too.

make it better than this and I will truly enjoy it:)

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
That tune is actually very, very good.  Definitely a worthy recreation.  While I'm not a lover of the longer notes in the main part of the theme tune (just the 8-bit sound methinks), the tune as a whole is great.  Good work! extra_smug

Eh?
A .rar file, a .mp3, a .nsf.... I fail to see anything to be paranoid about here. Also I'll listen to the .nsf myself, thank you :)

On topic, it's a pretty faithful recreation, nicely done... but it's a song that heavily relied on the sound quality rather than melody so it's not that great to listen to IMO. :/
red chamber dream
pretty cool stuff. think you did a good job of retaining the atmosphere.
