Well, since the old one went down along with the rest of the old message board (RIP, you will be missed), here's the all-new Maru Mari feedback thread. Feel free to provide myself and Houston with feedback as to what you liked, didn't like, and what you'd like to see in Maru Mari.

The new strips are great (hmmm, that reminds me I'm due to make an update on my own comic...).

Also, where are all the other strips? The only ones I see listed are the newest ones. Maybe its just my computer being crappy though...

You're not the first person to ask that. Is the link too obscure? The font is kinda small, but it's right at the top there...

Maybe I'll ask Tim for a sidebar link when we redo that.

Oh, I see it now. I was expecting a list similar to how they used to be listed. But this way works too. I just suggest you move/add another archives link after the new strips.

I made a compromise linking to MP Sequence Breaking in the site intro, and that's as far as I'm willing to go. There are more important issues to worry about with the site than to link small things.

Why am I so amazing?

Rage mentioned this in the news, but I thought I'd throw it out here too:

We're gonna be entering into Metroid Prime territory really soon, but since there's no sprites in MP, we can't exactly rip sprites for it. So we're gonna need sprites, preferably 16 bit sprites, that approximate MP environments and creatures. If you know of anything, give us one of those "shout outs" that hip young kids seem to enjoy.

Hmm... custom made sprites would be cool, but I don't really expect anyone to go through the trouble. Ripped sprites from SNES games is more what we had in mind.

If you do cook something up though, that would be spiferoo.

About the Metroid Prime thing. You could use buffed-up SM and MF sprites. Or, I could try to find sprites & backgrounds that fit. Or use a sprite editor. Just for fun. If I do find such a thing I'll send it to you. But, I want credit in return if I do. :)

Oh, we'll definately give credit where credit is due. And the Samus/Houston sprites are already taken care of. We're looking more for environments and creatures unique to Metroid Prime. Obviously we won't always find exactly what we want, but we can mix and match sprites. We already have a recepie for Flaahgra thought up that takes several different sprites from several different games.
