SS is considered faster since it takes time to get to a save room, let it do the nice "we're gonna save now"-animation, save, let it do the "you just saved"-animation and get back to where you were when you start the new segment.

That made me think back to Kridly's previous sig. It was something like: "00.00.01 could be the difference between first and second place"

Oh, right, erhm.., well it could be useful, at times, especially in a morf bawl run.
The thing is, it's more annoying than anything to try to make up all these different names for bombjumps. This is still just a diagonal bombjump, you just hit a wall to turn it around. Omg, it's the Turn-Aroiund Diagonal Infinite Bomb Jump (TADIBJ)!!1 No. That's lame. This trick, while indeed it exists, isn't so big of a deal to make up a new acronym for it, because that's just plain annoying. I think we can also agree that it was fairly well known before this topic was posted.

The reason there's a name for it is that it'd just take up a few extra lines to explain what it is if they've already heard of the ZZBJ. I'd rather say "use the ZZBJ" then say "Just DBJ into a wall and use that to go into a regular IBJ, then tap left or right again if you need to DBJ again."
Well, it seems to me that any time you're gonna use DBJ->IBJ, the walls tend to be close enough to wall jump off of, which is MUCH faster than bomb jumping.
