Nah, the game isn't that bad. It's just bad Metroid game. Cut all ties to Metroids and thegame will be very much more better, and better yet, Metroid series will be infinitely better again. And how does someone speakthatfastlikethis?
My biggest disappointment with Other M would simply be its length. If I had not deliberately backtracked at every point I could, and had just followed the directions given to me, I'd have finished in about six or seven hours, which just isn't getting my money's worth.
I'd have said that Zero Mission took me much longer, essentially because exploration is so free. Every time I'd get an item, I'd explore every part of every map again, to see what I could find. When I said short, I'm also talking about your first game. Most people here have 100% completion times of under 12 or so hours. For a Metroid game, that's pretty poor.
Zero Mission has sequence breaks and replay value.
it's not their fault they made their game so unbreakable.

My first gameplay was after reaching 100% was still only at 7 hours.

How is that not their fault? Every single break in ZM was put there intentionally by the developers. Other M could have done the same and would have been better for it.

B-but, my artistic vision! The story of Samus must be told in this one specific way or all is lost!
