When you first enter pyr, you have to release the security lock.  After you do so, you have enough room in the next hallway to gain a shine spark. After you have enough speed, gain the shinespark, jump up just a little, and use the shinespark to the right, going through the door and all of the next room.

I'm not to sure if any of you knew or cared to post it, but I will Rolling Eyes

heres another:

after you beat the security robot, theres a long room with a breakable ceiling, which leads to a shortcut to sector 1

u know it, right?

for 100%, after you get the space jump, open the door on the left, clear all of the enemies, then shine charge before the pit, spark left into the slope, and space boost through the room, thru the door, and thru the speed blocks in the next room, coming to a stop against the wall, then drop down onto the energy tank!

I've known that, and I've done it in a segmented 100% run. It's too easy to mess up, so that's why my SS doesn't have that trick.
